Paddle Stone Equestrian Center LLC. offers riding lessons for ages 4 and up. We have several instructors to choose from and offer lessons for Western and English riders.

Sandra Middleton (Head Trainer): Sandra Middleton is the co-founder/owner of Paddle Stone Equestrian Center LLC. She began her riding under such trainers as Robert Murphy, and Maggie Wright. She has been riding in the show circuit since she was a child, and has a huge record of winnings in Hunters, Jumpers as well as eventing. Many of her students she started off are currently showing on the "A" circuit, and competing at the upper levels. She is patient and great with beginning youth riders, as well as riders with special needs. She created the Paddle Stone Equine Show Team in 2004 and the team has been cleaning up at every event they attend since.

Melissa Simone (Beginner Hunter/Jumper Trainer): Melissa Simone started her riding at a small boarding facility just outside of Lexington. She then moved to PSEC in 2007 and began hard training under Sandra Middleton for Jumpers and Hunters. She has shown successfully throughout the KHJA circuit. She is wonderful with youth riders, and timid adults.
